Here, the light was so strong that I got the exact sharpness I like on a face. And the position of the sun stressed on the hair (hand+head) nicely enough.
What's more, it's subjective but the sort of haze I got on the upper part of the picture helps us focusing our look on the most important part of this portrait : the lips and fingers.
Plus the look, parallel to the grass stem.
All this made me feel a real harmony in this portrait...
On the background, these are only trees from the opposite valley.
